Our 2nd annual YKA Hot Chocolate Festival was a hit! The CFC would like to recognize the hard-working entrepreneurs who took part in the festival, the amazing sponsors and supporters that the centre has gathered in this journey, the dedicated volunteers who do so much behind the scenes and YOU the community who rallied behind supporting local business and a non-profit.

 

The 2025 YKA Hot Chocolate Winners are:

1st Place: Logjam Coffee "Banana Foster"

2nd Place: Mary Ann's Macarons "Black Forest Bliss"

3rd Place:  Hello Toast "Oreo Cookie Crumble"

Sprited Hot Chocolate: Monte Creek "Haskap White Hot Chocolate"

YKA Hot Chocolate Festival -  February 2025!

For the entire month of February 2025, participating cafés and restaurants will offer a signature hot chocolate drink for you to sample.  They'll compete for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze titles for YKA's Best Hot Chocolate 2025. New to this year, we added a fourth category of spirited hot chocolates with three locations offering their hot chocolate with a splash of alcohol for those who choose.

These delicious concoctions will warm your belly and your heart, knowing that $1-3 from each drink helps the Mount Paul Community Food Centre (CFC) reach even more community members.
